A splendid cruise on a sailing boat, a holiday in the white beach of San Vito lo Capo, called the white pearl of Sicily, Scopello, immersed in a natural landscape of extraordinary beauty and the Zingaro Reserve is the first protected natural area in the region and many coves with crystal clear sea. Our sailing boat itineraries are designed for an unforgettable holiday suitable for those who love the sea and unspoiled nature.

The one-week sailing itinerary includes a cruise of 8 days and 7 nights with departure and return from the port of Marsala. Our Africa boat will be the houseboat that will take you for a stroll throughout the journey, welcoming, comfortable and safe to navigate in absolute tranquility.

San Vito lo Capo is also known and renowned for the infamous Cous Cous Fest, the event, now in its twentieth edition, is a meeting place and cultural exchange between different peoples and traditions. Cous Cous is the key event that greets the summer with a festival of Mediterranean and African music, cuisine, sounds and flavors: it is defined as the festival of cultures … and has every reason for it; it is the point of contact for prestigious peoples and recipes.

During our trip we will also have the opportunity to discover the beauty of Favignana and Marettimo, beautiful islands that belong
to the archipelago of the Egadi Islands: a week to spend in one of the most beautiful places in Sicily that you will visit in the best possible way.

The Sailboat Africa is a Jeanneau Sun Odissey 43 of about 13.5 meters. bears the signature of architect Daniel Andrieu, a boat with a comfortable design, without sacrificing performance. Brilliant sailing, with luxurious interiors, welcoming and well finished in fine wood. The heights below deck are never less than 2 meters.

The boat consists of 4 double cabins; the bathrooms, one at the bow and one at the stern, comfortable and bright, are equipped with shower and sink with cold and hot water. A spacious convertible dinette is centrally positioned: large central table and sofas where you can relax comfortably.

On the side there is the kitchen with gas burners and oven with 2 sinks and a large refrigerator suitable for enjoying fresh drinks and food storage.

The boat is equipped with a stereo system with internal and external speakers. Outside there is a large and comfortable central cockpit equipped with awning, it is equipped with a fixed table, teak seats and cushions where you can relax and shelter from the sun. In the cockpit there is the electronic on-board instrumentation to allow navigation in maximum safety (whf, map gps, depth sounder, autopilot and wind station). The deck offers large sunbathing areas. At the stern there is an external fresh water shower and a swim ladder.


Day 1 Saturday
Welcome and arrival in the late afternoon at the tourist port of Marsala, our base.
In Marsala, in the immediate vicinity of the marina, there is a supermarket where it will be possible to organize the galley and prepare for the crossing to San Vito.

On board we do a first, quick briefing and settle into the cabins.
You can choose to dine on board or in one of the typical restaurants overlooking the seafront or in Marsala. After dinner you can visit the city for a fun evening before leaving the mainland.

Day 2 Sunday
Our week on a sailing boat in San Vito lo Capo and Riserva dello Zingaro has begun!
In the morning we leave for Favignana, the Butterfly of the Egadi Islands.
We will spend the day in one of the island’s wonderful coves to enjoy sun dips and swims in the crystal clear sea.
At sunset we will choose the last bay to spend the night.
Dinner under the stars to end the extraordinary day in style.

Favignana will strike you with the unique beauty of its sea.

Day 3 Monday
On this day we continue the discovery of Favignana to fully enjoy its wonderful sea. In the late afternoon, we will land at the port of the island to visit Favignana also from land.

In the evening we will organize an aperitif on the boat listening to good music, the evening will then end ashore in one of the island’s restaurants where you can dine on fresh fish and other delicacies.

Day 4 Tuesday
Today we set sail towards Marettimo, the sailing cruise continues, a green and mountainous island, full of springs and spectacular sea caves. We are still in the Egadi archipelago, the island is the undisputed kingdom of divers who can explore the numerous marine cavities. The island is largely a reserve and it is not possible to navigate its waters except by using the small boats of the island’s fishermen.

Marettimo is surmounted by a high mountain that rises sheer to the turquoise sea and recalls the Dolomites in many views: the trekking paths that can be traveled with sneakers or on the back of mules are famous.

In the evening we enjoy a fresh aperitif while admiring the sun setting into the sea and then have dinner in the port. In front of the landing there is the famous bar and restaurant La Scaletta, a starred restaurant where we always gladly return for a good dinner, music and

Day 5 Wednesday
After a last swim in the blue waters of Marettimo we set sail for San Vito Lo Capo, the navigation will have a variable duration based on the sea and wind conditions.

The water of the sea of ​​San Vito is warm and transparent, the cove that opens in front of the famous beach is of fine white sand. You will dive into this dream sea off the coast, away from the crowds of tourists who, especially in summer, are concentrated
on the long beach of the place.

We enjoy a mojito made with fresh mint and a dinner on board under the stars.

Day 6 Thursday
In the morning we set sail, the sailing holiday will go to the discovery of the Zingaro Reserve, a protected natural area, not contaminated by any coastal road. Here too you can find Mediterranean landscapes characterized by the green and fragrant Mediterranean scrub that grows on the coast. For lunch we will reach another jewel of these seas, the Tonnara di Scopello, the first Sicilian trap dating back to the thirteenth century and today the scene of many films and television commercials.

In the afternoon we will set sail for Castellamare del Golfo, an enchanting inlet dominated by an ancient castle. We spend the night on the boat at the port of Castellamare and dine ashore.

Day 7 Friday
Today we sail up to Levanzo where, having reached Cala Tramontana, we will take a last swim. Then we leave for Marsala to spend the last night in port.

We will have dinner on board or in a restaurant near the port, a perfect way to toast this wonderful sailing holiday coming to an end.

Day 8 Saturday
Wake up early, coffee and disembarkation before 09.30. See you next sailing adventure!
